The 2011 What’s Worth Knowing: Health and the Environment Symposium mobilized knowledge about the links between health, the economy and the environment while positioning education as a vehicle for continuously improving the lives of citizens. Key areas of inquiry included health issues pertaining to toxins, food, air quality, technology and social inequality. This event culminated in recommendations for curriculum and education policy development. These recommendations will be detailed in a white paper that will be released in early 2012.

The 2011 What’s Worth Knowing: Health and the Environment Symposium was held on November 16, 2011 in Toronto at the BMO Institute for Learning.
