Water Docs @ School Action Projects 2015 – Register for Webinars on June 10 & 17

Last year, Learning for a Sustainable Future (LSF), in partnership with EcoLogos Institute, conducted a pilot program called Water Docs @ School, a hands-on, interdisciplinary program for Grade 8 classes that explores local water issues. This year, we are expanding this successful program. Twenty classes will have the opportunity to explore local water issues through action and film. Participating students will:
  • discover water issues affecting their local community
  • develop action projects to address the issue
  • capture their success in a documentary, and
  • compete for an opportunity to showcase their film and project at the Water Docs @ School Action Projects Recognition Day at the Water Docs Film Festival on March 25th, 2015, and win a high-end laptop
Below, please see the invitation to participate in Water Docs @ School 2015. Space is limited to only 20 classes. Two informational webinars are being held on:

  • Tuesday June 10 @ 4pm
  • Tuesday June 17 @ 3:30pm

Please register today for the webinars and Water Docs @ School! We look forward to your participation in what we know will be another very rewarding experience!
